Welcome To Radhagobinda Sephali Museum

The Radhagobinda Sephali Museum is a timeless treasure trove where history breathes, memories whisper, and heritage lives on. Nestled in the heart of Khordha, this museum stands tall as a symbol of pride and cultural legacy—a living testament to generations of dedication, passion, and purpose.

Founded by the late Shri Radhagobinda Das, and lovingly expanded by his son Shri Gopal Krishna Das, the museum reflects a lifetime of devotion to preserving the echoes of time. Over the years, Mr. Das travelled across India and neighbouring countries, carefully gathering artifacts that now form this rich and unparalleled collection. Within its walls, visitors will discover a world of wonder—rare antiques, stamps, coins, vintage cameras, radios, and delicate inscriptions on palm leaves and metal sheets. From excavated artifacts of the Neolithic and Palaeolithic eras to autographs of notable figures, every item tells a story of civilization, creativity, and connection. One of the museum’s most powerful highlights includes war swords and traditional bows and arrows of the historic Paika Rebellion of Khordha, honouring the indomitable spirit of Odisha’s warriors. Alongside, cherished nostalgic belongings from six generations add a deeply personal touch, weaving together threads of family history and national heritage.

Representing every Indian state and several countries beyond, the museum offers a rich mosaic of cultures, timelines, and human experiences. It is more than a museum—it is a bridge between the past and present, a sanctuary for the curious, and a proud emblem of Khordha’s cultural soul.
